A Better Son/Daughter
Lina likes the sound made when she scrapes butter onto toast with a knife. She likes to watch people and think about all the things they don't like about themselves. She likes to ride her bike fast and turn her head sideways to hear the difference in the sound of the wind.
Lina does not like to have the same spot on her skin stroked repeatedly. She does not like the thought of rubbing two pieces of sandpaper together. She does not like to listen to people complain about things they have no control over.
